The Table

Understated simplicity was the motto for Jenni’s table. Featuring our Pacific Dinnerware in ivory, gingham napkins from Heather Taylor Home, cane-wrapped glassware, and simple bud vases, every tabletop element was grounded in purpose and festive form thanks to the subdued neutrals and shades of sage and green.

The Menu

To add a communal air of celebration to the menu, Jenni served a Hot Toddy and Gingerbread Cake by Leanne Citrone, as well as a fruit and cheese wreath from Lady & Larder, which will most certainly be a highlight for any and all guests who are keen on grazing as they catch up with friends. Be sure to prepare two batches of your hot toddy—one with whiskey and one without—to ensure everyone has a version to their liking.

The Décor

Seasonal greenery was the focal point of this gathering, which meant there was plenty of pine and likeminded evergreens to go around. We made use of holiday wreaths and garlands throughout that utilized natural textures. By sticking to one core color with the décor, the entire setting found a particular look and feel that’s in sync with the season.

The Details

When it comes to holiday hosting, curating comfort with the details is key—especially for this outdoor outing. Drape sheepskins across benches and chairs for warmth, queue up a well-rounded playlist, and place blankets out for those who are bound to get a little cold as the sun begins to sets.
