Blue and White Accessories
February 11, 2016

I’ve always loved the look of classic white enamel with blue rims in the kitchen and around the house and recently discovered some great new things.
Vases
I found this water pitcher at Vintage Weave on 3rd street and had to have it. I use it when I’m watering the garden, arranging flowers, and recently I have been using it as a vase in my living room. A couple of weeks ago I was leaving the Brentwood County Mart, I spotted a smaller version in the windowsill of the florist there – Botany – planted with succulents. I immediately ordered two and can’t wait to pick them up. I think they’ll look great on a bathroom counter or as centerpieces for a causal summer dinner.
Bakeware
A long time ago I was on a great home site in England and discovered Falcon Enamelware. I tried desperately to order pieces but at the time they weren’t shipping to the US and it was crazy expensive. So I was excited when I saw them on Brook Farm General Store last month and ordered them. I ordered the measuring spoons, pie set, and baking set. I also love the red and white pieces but I’m partial to the blue and white. I love their tumblers and am waiting for them to come back into stock. They are the perfect kid’s cups and I think they would be great in bathrooms. I also love their plates for kids or eating outdoors. Falcon is a British company that has been around since the 1920s and is made from porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel. It’s perfect for baking and I love that you can take it from oven to table because it’s so great looking.
Bathroom Accessories
As you have gathered by now, I am in love with everything Santa Maria Novella – their packaging and products kill me. I love their blue and white porcelain accessories and just ordered some for Tahoe. Their soap dish is perfect. I like to fill it with my favorite SMN potpourri. I’m also really into their hand soap dispenser for a kitchen or a bathroon. I fill them with Dr. Bronner’s Lavender or Rose soap. XXJKE
