Behind the Pages: Pacific Natural Everywhere
February 17, 2026
They say that to make something look effortless, it requires intention—and Pacific Natural Everywhere, an exploration in curating California ease, is no exception. Years in the making, Jenni’s third book evolved through countless discussions and the careful collaboration of Jenni and her creative team to bring her vision to life. We spoke with Jenni and the team behind the book to share the process of how this momentous project came together—keep reading for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
Behind the Pages: Pacific Natural Everywhere
From Concept to Creation
When Jenni first pitched Pacific Natural Everywhere in the summer of 2023, she imagined a book that was bigger than anything she’d done before—a study in how California living resonates around the world. From August 2024 through March 2025, the team traveled around the globe to capture the imagery, followed by an intensive design period through June, in which they shaped the layout and flow of every page. While Jenni has always been clear in her creative direction, the project was a true collaboration. She brought a trusted team of creatives on board to translate her vision into something truly special.

Shop the Story

“I really wanted to focus on how all the homes sit in nature—and the relationship between the interiors, the architecture, and the landscape outside. It’s about embracing the natural surroundings and this concept of California living everywhere. It’s an effortlessness, an ease, and an indoor-outdoor flow you can capture all over the world.”— Jenni

Letting the Landscape Lead
The concept behind the third book went through several iterations to get where it landed. It first began as a book focused on gardens, then it evolved into a broader exploration of “California living” as a feeling. While it was originally organized around seasons, the team ultimately divided Pacific Natural Everywhere into chapters defined by the homes’ defining natural features—aspen, oak, pine, and ryegrass—a shift that felt more aligned with Jenni’s main priority of celebrating the outdoors. In choosing homes for the book, the focus was on capturing spaces that were at ease with their surroundings—even if their interiors diverged from the aesthetic we’re known for.

“When the ethos of California living is at the center, a space invites connection—between indoors and out, between people, and with the natural world around us.”—Jenni
