Dress Up For Kids
February 11, 2016

Like most kids his age, Tanner loves pretending and dressing up. But of course, being the controlling fashionista I am, I can’t deal with those drugstore costumes made of only synthetic materials. So I made it my mission to scour the internet for cute costumes. Now, whether Tanner wants to be Woody from Toy Story or the cowardly lion – we’ve got it all!
Hang It All Up
I wanted to incorportate the costumes we have into our playroom so they would not go to waste. This way, the kids can use them whenever they feel and they help inspire play. To display the costumes, I found a small wood rolling rack from Serendipity in Paris. While it’s no longer available on their website, I’m sure you could contact them to order one. I also ordered chic wood hangers to match.
Cowboys & Indians
Cowboys & Indians was the theme for Tanner’s 2nd birthday. I love this Native American costume I found on Magic Cabin. For a fancier headdress , this one from Chocolate Show in Paris is super chic. I got a bunch of these more reasonable colorful headdresses for Tanner’s party and they were a big hit. For cowboys, here is a cute Woody Cowboy costume on Etsy. I also love Wovenplay’s cowboy and cowgirl costumes.
Pirates
Wovenplay is fantastic and I’m really into their pirate costume for both boys and girls. It looks as cute on Tanner as it does on our god-daughter Franny. I also love this pirate hat and loot from Chocolate Snow and this pirate eye patch from Coral & Tusk. XX JKE
