The Perfect Recipes: Summer Picnic

With picnic season in full swing, I asked a few of my culinary favorites for the perfect, packable salads for such an occasion. Not surprisingly, Pamela Salzman, Claire Thomas from the Kitchy Kitchen, and Barrett from Valleybrink Road provided some seriously delicious selections.

On the summer picnic menu: Pamela’s Spinach & Quinoa Salad with Feta and Watermelon & Tomato Salad with Feta, Claire’s Green Goddess Salad and Roasted Curried Carrot Salad with Raisins & Pine Nuts, and Barrett’s Lentil Salad with Cucumber & Feta, and Potato Salad with Creme Fraiche, Chive & Parsley.

All of the salads look absolutely delicious, and the perfect excuse for a picnic if one wasn’t already on the agenda. XXJKE
