December 9, 2022
In our next installment of Gift List—the series in which we ask some of our favorite tastemakers to share the items they’re gifting this season—we’re back with Pia Baroncini, creative force behind LPA and genuine multi-hyphenate, for her well-curated guide to giving in a way that feels thoughtful and authentic no matter who might be on your list.

Gift List: The Pieces Pia Baroncini Swears By
Rip & Tan: What’s your approach to holiday gifting?
Pia Baroncini: I always make sure I’m not buying something just to buy it. Everyone has so much stuff, I find it’s important to make purchases that are super meaningful or practical!
Rip & Tan: Any go-to pieces you keep on hand for helpful last-minute gifting?
Pia Baroncini: Vintage frames from Etsy! Printing a photo and putting it in an antique frame is always such a special gift!
Rip & Tan: What are you eyeing for yourself this season?
Pia Baroncini: Davide says it’s not a gift because it’s for work, but I just really want a new computer.
Rip & Tan: What are you the most excited about for the holiday season?
Pia Baroncini: For my daughter to see Christmas! She was only 6 months last year, so now that she’s a bit older I’m truly excited for her to see the lights and get excited.

"Etsy is one of my favorite sources for seamless and special gifting."
Pia's Gift List
Atop Pia’s gift list (and our own, if we’re being honest) is a kitchen staple we can’t seem to get enough of: Baroncini Olive Oil. It’s handmade in Italy and is sure to transform even the simplest of seasonal dishes. Looking for something a touch cozy to pair with this kitchen classic? Pia recommends the luxe Barca Cotton Treccia Cable Blanket from Ghiaia Cashmere.
Always eager to search Etsy for the perfect find, Pia is eyeing these vintage napkins—the perfect tabletop touch for anyone special in your life. Rounding out her interiors edit are these covetable brass spoons that will certainly elevate any gifting moment.
From Jenni Kayne, Pia is planning on gifting the Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan for almost anyone on her list, as well as our own holiday favorite: our Shearling Moroccan Slippers. For the special home touches, she has the Nico Tray and Thin Ceramic Vessel on her curated gift list.
