Our Guide to Winter Slides
December 21, 2017

Winter is a relative term here in Los Angeles. Despite our lack of snow or frost, we love to dress with a nod to the season. Whether you’re in the middle of a big chill or just love a good dose of luxe layers, a truly wintry look wouldn’t be complete without a festive finish. We can’t think of a more seasonally appropriate shoe than our iconic slides rendered in plush shearling or mink. Opt for a satin mule with a little embellishment and you’ll have a polished look with the staying power to last through winter and beyond.
We styled three of our winter slides in looks we love:
Outfit 1: polka dot slip dress, charcoal boucle sweater, satin puff slides
The subtle feather puff addition to our rounded mules adds interest and texture to a tried and true classic. Pair these luxe satin slides with our silk polka dot slip—the minimalist’s take on party-ready dressing. Layer with our merino-cashmere blend boucle sweater to balance out texture.
Outfit 2: corduroy cropped flare pant, fur mules, cashmere ribbed turtleneck
Lustrous, opulent, and soft as a cloud: we can’t get enough of these fur mules. The supple leather sole makes a cozy foundation to build a bundled-up look. Sort of a sister to velvet, a corduroy pant is timeless. Workwear-inspired with a feminine twist, these cropped flares come with the promise to fit and to flatter. Complete the look with the style that’s always high on our knit list: the classic cashmere turtleneck.
Outfit 3: black re/done jeans, wine sweater coat, fur sandals, cashmere jersey thermal crewneck
These fur-trimmed sandals are both relaxed and refined—the definition of a California winter. Wear with our favorite Re/Done denim jeans and a thermal crew knit from our soft and light cashmere-jersey blend. Layered with our best-selling sweater coat in a rich new hue, this is the ultimate transitional look you can mix, match and make your own all throughout the year.
