Product Feature: Dram Bitters

When I find products that are crafted in small batches, use organic ingredients, and are beautifully (and responsibly) packaged, I simply cannot resist. Dram Apothecary’s bitters, tonics, and teas are all that and more.

Handmade using the finest wild and organic Colorado herbs, and organically grown exotic fruits, barks and berries, Dram goods are the beautiful product of founder Shae Whitney’s Food Science, Ecological Agriculture and Botany studies, and her years of experience as a bartender.

My favorites: her small batch bitters. These all natural tinctures – think Honey Chamomile, Wild Mountain Sage, and Citrus Medica, to name a few – make the perfect addition to juice, tea, sparkling water, or your favorite cocktail, as well as smoothies, sauces and baked goods.

Her beautiful site is definitely worth visiting, not just for the amazing products, but also for the inspired food and cocktail recipes – the cornbread is on my to-do list this summer. XXJKE
