When I was shopping in New York last September with Ripley I discovered a gorgeous mobile at Yoya . The mobile was made of two driftwood branches that looked like they were floating in the sky. On them were little printed fabric leaves and adorable perched birds. Not knowing who made it or anything about it, I fell in love and took it home with us. A couple months later I was on the hunt for a stool for Tanner and my friend Amanda sent me an image of a great little wood stool that was perfect. I soon realized that Namhee made both the mobile and the stool and I was hooked! I quickly scoured her website and fell in love. I love her fabric covered deer and horse trophies and also think her piglet statues are great. I’ve never seen her fabric covered chairs in person but they are on my wish list for Ripley’s room. She also makes adorable accessories – I have a headband for Rip that I adore.

Based in NYC, Namhee epitomizes artisan workmanship with her approach to design. Hand selecting beautiful, antique items, Namhee transforms each by hand with love and care into something new. She refashions the old and discarded by adding her special touch, making each item unique and a treasure to behold. I just ordered it for my West Hollywood store and I can’t wait to get it in. XXJKE
