Kids Entertaining: Ripley's Princess Birthday: The Menu
February 16, 2016

As I shared yesterday, the decor elements for Ripley’s princess-themed party were so great, and Annie Campbell’s menu for the day was the icing on the cake. For sips, she served a Rose Lemonade (made pink in color with just a touch of fresh-pressed beet juice) accompanied by crown-shaped Almond Butter & Raspberry Jam and star-shaped Smashed Avocado with Lemon & Pink Sea Salt tea sandwiches.
For other savory bites, she served a Ricotta, Radish & Chive Crostini and a Fig Jam with Goat Cheese & Mint Crostini. Also on the menu: her incredible Farmers Market Crudités (an assortment of snap peas, asparagus, cucumber, French breakfast radishes and watermelon radishes) served with a pink Beet Dip and a Creamy Cilantro Dip, and a Bibb Lettuce, Pink Grapefruit, Fennel & Avocado Salad with Lemon Dressing.
For sweets, Annie made the most adorable star sugar cookie wands with these great cookie sticks (adhered using this method) and her favorite edible gold glitter. And for the birthday girl: two Vanilla Princess Cakes with Cream Cheese Frosting, one decorated with cherries and edible gold glitter, and the other decorated with flowers and strawberries. XXJKE
