In the Veggie Kitchen: Thanksgiving - The Menu

February 17, 2016

As I shared yesterday, for our most recent get-together In the Kitchen, we were treated to an incredible Thanksgiving-inspired vegetarian meal, courtesy of the lovely and talented Dana Slatkin, aka the Beverly Hills Farmgirl. Referred to as such after starting the Beverly Hills Farmers Market in 1994, Dana, a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef, sells her line of award-winning food products to airlines and supermarkets, and teaches a series of in-demand cooking classes from her own home. I was fortunate enough to join some friends for a recent class, and loved everything about what she did, prompting me to ask her if she might join us for a pre-holiday meal in the kitchen. Happily, she said yes.

With a cooking philosophy that includes eating real, eating well, and in good company, Dana walked us through creating an amazing meal that was all of those things. Featuring simple but incredibly flavorful recipes made with wholesome ingredients, her menu was vegetarian done just right, and provided lots of inspiration for my upcoming Thanksgiving feast. See below for all of our delicious menu details. XXJKE
