As soon as the leaves begin to change and the temperature takes a slight dip, we can’t help but find ourselves getting lost in the many makings of fall hosting. Eager for some inspired tips, we asked Jenni for her take on the season. From Thanksgiving recipe ideas to tablescapes that transform all sorts of gatherings, every element is certain to build an evening you will never forget

The Table
Every great gathering calls for festive and inspired florals. Jenni was focused on keeping the scene neutral and natural, so she enlisted Ren from Renko Floral to craft a tablescape for the occasion. Ren styled the table with tulip magnolia branches, anemones, and foraged grasses, adding in texture and pops of color through foraged leaves and miniature pumpkins. To create this in your own home, follow Ren’s lead and simply head outdoors to gather the seasonal offerings.
Jenni kept it warm and inviting with thoughtful details around the table. For the cards at each setting, all you need is cardstock and ribbon. Cut enough rectangles for each guest using your preferred paper—enlist a friend with noteworthy handwriting or simply use a script that you can print. To add some extra flair, hole-punch circles on each side and string ribbon through. For the final touch, create floral bundles to accompany each setting using varieties like rosemary, bunny grass, and gomphrena.

The Menu
The Thanksgiving table isn’t complete without a roundup of delicious and crowd-pleasing recipes. That’s where two of Jenni’s longtime favorite dishes come into play: Sweet Laurel’s Butternut Squash Mash and Pecan Pie. Gluten-free and seasonally inspired, the true beauty of both of these recipes rests in their ease for hosting. Make both of these the day before your gathering and pop them in the oven as guests begin arriving.

The Details
Let your guests bring the memories of night home with DIY gifts that draw inspiration from your table. Not only do parting gifts add something special to the scene, but they also serve as fun crafts that the whole family can assemble. Case in point: the bath salts that Ripley made using sea salt, lavender, chamomile, and calendula. Combine equal parts in a glass jar—Weck is a favorite of ours—and fasten the lid. Place one beside each plate for a festive and memorable setting.
