DIY: Iron-Ons with Amy Blessing

I met Amy Blessing years ago when she had the absolute best Men’s store, apartment number 9, located in the Brentwood Country Mart – it was Richard’s favorite. Besides the merchandise, I always loved the decor and Amy’s unique sense of style. Years later, I was so happy when we were able to reconnect through her best friend, Annie Campbell.
As a special gift, Amy knit Ripley the most adorable striped leg warmers that were immediately added to my list of obsessions. She wrapped them in beautiful cotton tape and used an iron-on to write, “These were hand-knit for Ripley.” I loved the label and packaging as much as I did the leg warmers, and subsequently begged Amy to teach me how to do it myself!

Amy works her beautiful magic on all sorts of items, but some of her very favorites to work with include: Muslin Bags, Onesies, Cotton Ribbon, Muslin (used for Jam Toppers), and Cotton Fabric Tape (for decorative flags). Happy crafting!! XXJKE
