Autumn’s arrival brings a slight shift in priorities: getting organized, going back to school, and maybe putting that carefree summer attitude away, at least for the workweek. Add this to your to-do list: refresh your wardrobe. We’re introducing some new styles and bringing back some classics, but they all hit the same note in soft, supple suede.

The Chelsea boot is an ever-present piece of footwear in our wardrobe, but in a soft, neutral suede, they’ve just become all the more necessary. The mid-heel means you won’t be struggling for sneakers at the end of the day. Go full-on Lower Manhattan when you wear these with a pair of wide-legged jeans or offset a long flowing dress with this strong boot.

Meet the Canyon boot. Imagine hiking trails along the California coast, but with oysters and rose at the end instead of trail mix and potable water. Vintage-inspired and made with a soft, supple suede, these boots have the hardworking spirit of mountaineering gear without any of the bulk—this slimmed-down silhouette is flattering and perfectly fall-friendly.

Now that we’ve all gotten over our collective disbelief that Birkenstocks are actually cool again, and very much here to stay, we can all admit that really, it was always all about the comfort. Lined with soft shearling and the company’s signature molded cork sole, the Boston clog and Arizona sandal are the perfect transitional shoes if you’re still holding on to summer shoes but need a little extra warmth.
