Gift List: Paige Harper's Picks for Expecting Moms
Rip & Tan: Where do you turn for gifting inspiration?
Paige Harper: I like to find the perfect mix of unique and practical. I first think “What does this person need” and then try to find a unique gift to coincide. Pinterest is super helpful when searching for inspiration. I also love the Goop gift guides during the holidays. Personally, I love a sentimental gift—things with family heritage, an item you will keep and treasure forever. This Mother’s Day will be extra special because it will be the first time my mom will celebrate the holiday as a grandmother. I’m already planning on spoiling her.
Rip & Tan: How do you take an average gift to the next level?
Paige Harper: Personalize it. Maybe add their name, child’s name, initials, sentimental date, etc. It always adds a special touch.
Rip & Tan: Regardless of style or taste, what’s one gift any mother will love?
Paige Harper: A heartfelt and thoughtful card.

Rip & Tan: What’s the most underrated way to treat the mothers in our lives this year?
Paige Harper: I think self-care is so underrated. Most mothers struggle to put themselves first and fail to set aside time to be pampered. I think a facial, massage, spa experience, or even offering to take the kids for the day is the most thoughtful gift.
Rip & Tan: As a mother, what’s a gift you’d be especially touched to receive this year?
Paige Harper: Something special for my baby. Maybe a gift I can enjoy now and then pass down to her when she’s old enough.
Rip & Tan: What meaning does Mother’s Day hold for you? How will you celebrate this year?
Paige Harper: It is the day to celebrate the most important person in my life since I came into this world. I am especially excited this year to not only celebrate my own transition into motherhood, but also share the holiday with my own mother in her new role as a grandmother.
