Our Best-Selling Sweater Coat in New Colors

As much as I love the ease of getting dressed in the summer, I always enjoy unpacking my favorite sweaters in preparation for the fall and winter months. I love the texture, comfort, and luxury knitwear brings to an outfit, and the opportunity to create more dynamic, layered looks. Our sweater coat is one of my personal favorite sweaters—and our customers’ too. It’s been a best-seller since we first introduced it to our collection. It’s just one of those great, versatile, pared down items that you reach for over and over again in your closet. And the yak and wool blend yarn we use is so soft and so flattering.

Around this time of year, I love our sweater coat worn as a jacket over summer staples like a cotton T-shirt, jeans or cotton pants, and slip-on flats. Styled this way it has a beachy, very California feel. As it gets colder, you can wear it like a cardigan over a button down, jeans, and boots. When the weather truly gets cold, it can function more like a base layer under your mid-length and long winter coats. Of course, it’s also great for cozy moments at home, whether you’re curling up to read a book or heading downstairs in the early morning to get the coffee going.
