Inside Our Fall Harvest Lunch with Staub

October 22, 2024

To toast the Jenni Kayne fall collection and Staub’s 50th anniversary, Jenni hosted a chic fall harvest lunch at the Farmhouse. The air was crisp, the foliage was bursting with color, and the menu was hyperseasonal—essentially, it was everything you’d want out of an autumn afternoon Upstate. Given how gorgeous the day turned out, we couldn’t resist sharing all the details—read on for a closer look.

The Looks

Hosted by Jenni (in a Pleated Skirt and a Cashmere Porter Turtleneck), Jenni Kayne President Kate Watters (in the Cleo Slip Dress), and our friends from Staub, the event was an intimate gathering of tastemakers and friends of the brand. Guests wore timeless styles from our fall collection, with Vogue editor Elise Taylor in a Cropped Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan, Callisto Farm founder Amalia Graziani in a Cashmere Jet Turtleneck, and chef Justine Doiron in the Demi Pant.

The Menu

At a long table adorned with fall produce and set with Pacific Dinnerware, guests sat down to a locally-sourced meal from chef Camille Becerra. Centered around what was in season, her menu included a root vegetable ratatouille, a fresh chicory salad with ricotta and hazelnuts, and sumac-roasted salmon with charred allium. And the dish that stole the show? Dutch babies with fresh citron, cooked to perfection in Staub cast irons.

The Special Moments

As guests explored the property, there were a few classic fall traditions to enjoy—like apple picking, a warm cider station, and antique trays of apple cider sugar-dusted donuts. Alongside some new seasonal traditions, too—like our signature Farmhouse spritzes, local wine by NEVERSTILL, exquisite chocolate from Spring & Mulberry, and a cashmere embroidery station where guests personalized their favorite Jenni Kayne knits.

“We loved partnering with the Jenni Kayne team, as Jenni uses Staub in her own kitchens and has been a longtime personal fan of our products—as we are of hers." —Meredith Bradford, Staub’s Director of PR
