Rip & Tan: How would you define your typical gifting ethos? 

Jenni Kayne: No matter the holiday, I love gifts that are thoughtful and, above all, timeless. I want the person I’m giving it to to be able to treasure it for as long as possible, if not the rest of their lives. 

Rip & Tan: What are some unexpected ways we can treat the mothers and mother figures in our lives?

Jenni Kayne: Never underestimate the impact of personalization. These days, there are so many different ways to customize a gift. Something as simple as adding embroidery to linens or tea towels can make something fairly ordinary so incredibly special.

Jenni Kayne: Simply put, it’s a day filled with love for your mom, your children if you have them, and your friends who are moms or mother figures. It’s a time to slow down and show gratitude, no matter how simple, for the women in your life who have often spent a good portion of their lives putting others first.
