Introducing Jenni Kayne x Barton Perreira Sunglasses

Venice Beach-based eyewear company Barton Perreira is known for striking a balance in their designs that feels special and unique without being too trendy. We carry a few of my favorite Barton Perreira sunglasses in our stores and online, and this month marks the launch of our first collaboration with the brand.

I gravitated towards their Dean frame because it’s super simple with slightly rounded square lenses, a keyhole bridge, and gold metal arms. I love menswear-inspired glasses that have a slimmer frame so they’re not too masculine. I asked Patty Perreira, who co-founded the brand in 2007, to make us a pair with a tortoise frame and bottle green lenses. I’ve always loved that combination; it feels vintage and makes a statement without going too far. Plus, I think the coloring works equally well with smart black separates, a little white dress, or jeans and a T-shirt.
