Rip & Tan: How would you describe your general philosophy on getting dressed?

Liv Madeline: My philosophy is getting dressed in a way that makes you feel freaking good! As long as you feel good that’s all that matters.

Rip & Tan: Who are your style icons?

Liv Madeline: I don’t actually have any specific icons, I tend to find inspiration online ie. on Pinterest and Instagram. I think those are the best places to find style inspiration.

Rip & Tan: How has your personal style changed over time?

Liv Madeline: I think everyone goes through a phase in life where they are trying to figure out their own personal style—when it came to my personal style, I used to focus a lot on what I thought people would think looked good instead of what I felt looked good.

Rip & Tan: If you’re only wearing one outfit for the rest of your life, what does that look like?

Liv Madeline: A comfy oversized sweatshirt and relaxed trousers.

Rip & Tan: What’s the one piece every woman needs in her wardrobe?

Liv Madeline: I definitely think every woman needs a couple of neutral items whether that is a black and white tank top/t-shirt, a pair of classic jeans, and trousers as it’s very easy to style around. Also, can’t forget, easy to add colors and a coat that can be dressed down or up.

Rip & Tan: How does your day-to-day style differ from the way you approach events or occasions?

Liv Madeline: When it comes to dressing for events I try to make it a little more sophisticated by adding more jewelry and chic-heeled pumps.

Rip & Tan: Whether you’re on-the-go or lounging at home, do you have any tips for feeling instantly put-together?

Liv Madeline: For the perfect on-the-go or lounging at home outfit is a matching loungewear set, no matter how I feel—I always feel put together.

Rip & Tan: What does timelessness mean to you?

Liv Madeline: No matter how much time goes by, the quality and feel never change and can be passed on throughout time and still remain authentic.
