Valentine's Day Jewelry Gift Guide
February 11, 2016

Nothing makes Valentine’s Day extra special like a piece of gorgeous jewelry. Because I am a lover of jewels, especially when they are well designed and interesting, I have made a point to make sure I absolutely adore every piece of jewelry sold in my store. With that in mind, and in the spirit of the holiday of love, I have created this jewelry gift guide, along with a little bit about some of the jewelry designers I carry in the store. Look at these pieces for inspiration, or, if you’re extra lucky, as a gift for yourself or someone you love!
All for the Mountain
All for the Mountain is designed by the very talented and very cool Carly Margolis. She is a true artist and makes interesting and beautiful pieces at an amazing price.
Amulette
Amulette is a new collection of antique jewelry that is curated by one of my best friends, Hilary Tisch. Ranging from 18th century European estate jewelry to beautiful Mexican Silver pieces, the collection is handpicked and gorgeous. Hilary has impeccable taste and Amulette does a great job showcasing it.
Costume
I carry a wide variety of vintage costume jewelry in the store, which looks incredible and comes in a whole range of prices. I try to pick unique and timeless pieces for this collection.
Irit Design
Irit Ehrlich is not only my mother-in-law but also an amazing jewelry designer who incorporates rose-cut diamonds and baroque Tahitian pearls into her unique and gorgeous pieces. Her jewels are often web like and have the perfect patina. Plus, no piece is the same, which makes an Irit purchase extra special.
Kathryn Bentley
We recently started carrying Kathryn’s line in my store and her one-of-a-kind pieces have been a huge hit. Kathryn finds inspiration in architecture, talisman and tribal cultures. Her organic designs mimic patterns and textures she finds both in the city and in nature. Her pieces all feel special and unique.
Lara Melchior
One of the newer lines in my store, her pieces are delicate and beautiful and completely hand made. She is based in Paris and we are the only store in the states that carry her collection.
Lena Wald
Lena is a friend and an amazing jewelry designer. She makes beautiful pieces using silver, gold, and rose gold that are fun and classic. I especially love her growing collection of studs that you can mix and match.
Mannin
Created by the very chic Suzanne Donegan, all of her pieces are made of recycled gold and hand crafted here in Los Angeles. I treasure each piece of hers that I own, especially the signet ring I had made with Tanner, Ripley, and Richard’s initials.
Nancy Newberg
Nancy launched her eponymous line in 2011. I have always admired Nancy’s sense of style, so I was thrilled to see her collection. Her intricate yet classic pieces are made with beautiful oxidixed silver, gold and diamonds mixed together in a very chic way. XXJKE
