I discovered The Paella Project at a charity event last year and was instantly obsessed. So when we began planning my close friend Nicole’s surprise birthday party – which also served as a great kickoff to summer – it felt like the perfect festive fit.
A full service catering company specializing in cooked onsite paellas, The Paella Project is run by chef Adriana Morera who was trained to make paellas in Valencia, Spain, where the dish originated. The meal and its preparation was an experience in itself – she prepared the paella in traditional cast iron paelleras pans, and brought along tapas to accompany the main dish. Everything was so delicious, wonderfully authentic, and such fun for a party. I can’t wait for an excuse to work with her again! XXJKE
