Neon
February 11, 2016

One of my close friends who’s an amazing stylist always says that neon is a neutral… I’m not so sure about that, but I do love it for summer, especially with nude or white. With summer on it’s way, these are some of my favorite moments for neon this season.
Jewelry
Tom Binns
Tom Binns is one of my favorite jewelry designers and his neon pieces are insane. I especially love his Ethno-Teknic collection.
Rope Bracelets
I’ve always loved the cream Nantucket rope bracelets for summer. I recently discovered them in neon and they’re really fun. My favorites are the neon pink and neon yellow .
Friendship Bracelets
My friend Ambre gave out Pura Vida bracelets last summer as party favors for her daughter Ella’s birthday. They’re friendship surf bracelets from Costa Rica and look really cool layered up alone or with your own jewelry. I love that in purchasing them, you’re supporting local artisans working on their craft. They come in solid neon colors or mixed together.
Nails
I love neon nails, especially Jessica’s Yellow Flame and Essie’s Action. During the summer I like doing Essie’s Sand Tropez – a nude tone – on my nails with Action or Yellow Flame on my toes.
Office
I love these chic neon pens from Sid Mashburn. They look great on any desk. I also love these neon colored pencils, which I keep in a desk drawer at the office for Tanner to help decorate his thank-you notes. I’m not sure what I would need a neon pocket knife or swiss army knife for, but I love the way they look! And as I mentioned before, my newest obsession is washi tape, especially in fluorescent colors. I’ve been using it to hang things in the kids’ playroom, as well as wrapping presents with it and brown butcher paper – using the tape on the outside of the package instead of ribbon.
Kitchen
I saw these great neon bowls on Remodelista and think they’re amazing. These tea towels would also be a great addition to any kitchen for a cool pop of color.
Kids
For the kids, I love Kimmel Kids products. I have a couple canvas pouches from them that I keep in my diaper bag or use when we pack. They make cool stencils for art projects as well. Their custom tipi looks amazing and I also picked up one of their neon dream catchers at RTH.
Atsuyo et Akiko always has such fun accessories for kids. I love their neon Eiffel Tower and Heart necklaces.
I know I’m always referencing these J.Crew shoes laces, but I am obsessed! I love the neon orange and neon green as the perfect pop on a neutral shoe. They’re so fun for kids.
Lost and Found is one of my favorite stores to shop for home and kids. I love these cool wool animals they have that have pops of neon in them. We have an adorable flamingo and giraffe and I love the pink lion!
For the playroom or outside, Smallable has these neon green bistro chairs and table, which I think are super chic. I like the idea of mixing it up, choosing different color chairs with the table. XXJKE
