DIY: Sea Salt Soak

We all need ways to recharge, refresh, and relieve stress, and one of my favorite ways to do so is by taking a nice sea salt soak. Beneficial in so many ways – it also restores minerals, balances skin moisture, reduces muscle pain and stiffness, and improves circulation of the lymphatic system – it’s a ritual I swear by and look forward to at the end of a long week. And, it’s something that you can easily make yourself, with just a few beneficial ingredients. See below for my favorite (and super easy) way to create. XXJKE

INGREDIENTS (increase proportionately to create a nice large batch)

2 cups sea salt

several tablespoons magnesium oil

20 drops essential oil (I love using Enfleurage Cedar and Rosewood oils)

dried herbs (I use pine and cedar)

small glass containers

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend salt, magnesium and essential oils in a mixer until combined.

Add dried herbs and store in glass containers.

To use, add to warm running bath water and soak for 10-20 minutes.

To make a great scrub, simply add coconut or almond oil to your blend.
