Summer Sangria Cocktail Recipe

February 16, 2016

A table set outdoors with fresh fruit juice bottles, two pitchers of dark juice, two wine bottles, a rustic board with sliced oranges, berries, cherries, and assorted greenery in the background.

A summer sangria is always a good idea, and for our most recent In the Kitchen, our friends at Heirloom LA and The Chalkboard Mag conspired to create one of the best I have ever tasted. The game-changing, why-didn’t-I-think-of-that ingredient: Pressed Juicery Roots 3. To make our Summer Sangria, we combined red wine provided by Heirloom, Roots 3, sparkling water and tons of seasonal fruit (cherries, blueberries, nectarines, oranges, and blood oranges). As a note, we kept the recipe sugar-free, but to add a bit of sweet, you can also muddle the fruit with organic sugar. The result: warm weather perfection, with just a touch of the unexpected. XXJKE
