Celebrating in Comfort: A Modern Spin on Holiday Dressing
November 1, 2017

When I was designing my Holiday 2017 collection, I wanted it to be glamorous but also cozy. I loved the idea of bringing comfortable elements in your going-out wardrobe, and luxurious elements into your staying-in wardrobe. Wide-leg crepe pants, silk dresses, and satin slippers are elegant and effortless for holiday parties. Meanwhile, cashmere thermal sweats, shearling slippers, and alpaca throw blankets give comfy nights at home a sense of specialness that I love. This time of year is fun and celebratory, and also a chance for us to relax and take care of ourselves, to unwind from work and holiday chaos, and I think this collection really speaks to both of those pursuits.
In addition to introducing new staples for your wardrobe, we have several other exciting projects launching over the next couple of months that I can’t wait to share with you. The Jenni Kayne Home Airstream tour will be making its way to the East coast, for one, moving from Nashville to Charleston and then onto Brooklyn before coming back to California for the month of December. We are also opening our very first East coast boutique in New York very soon. The store will be located in Tribeca—I can’t wait to tell you more about it later this month.
If you live in California, we have a lot happening in our spaces here as well! Beginning on November 13th we will have holiday wreaths by Moon Canyon for special order. Around that time, we will also be launching customizable gift boxes in stores and online. And closer to the holidays we will have an in-store DIY where customers can make their own gift toppers like the ones you see here! These are made with oranges, pine, and eucalyptus tied up with floral wire and twine. They smell heavenly and couldn’t be easier to put together! XXJKE
