Chai Tea Latte Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cup 473 ml water
  • 2 bags black tea preferably Darjeeling or Assam
  • 6 Cardamom Pod
  • 1 Thumb size ginger fresh, peeled and sliced, or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 stick cinnamon or 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 pepper whole, black peppercorns
  • 5 whole clove or a couple of dashes of ground cloves
  • 1 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • 3/4 cup 177 ml almond milk

To prepare chai: Combine water, tea, spices and almond milk in a saucepan on the stove and bring to a boil. Once mixture boils, turn off heat, cover and steep for five minutes. Return heat to a low simmer and once hot, strain mixture into mugs and add honey, or sweetener of your choice. Enjoy.
