Introducing Our LA-Made Lingerie-Inspired Pieces

While my summer collection is inspired by camping and spending time in the great outdoors, not everything in the range is built for roughing it. I found delicate silk, lingerie-inspired pieces to be a natural counterpoint to the more hard-wearing knits and flannels in the collection. I pictured them layered up with those items  for a mix of masculine and feminine, rugged and romantic.

Those silk pieces—which I’m proud to say we manufactured right here in LA—also look great worn alone for dressier occasions. The gathered lace trim makes them feel very “country” but the fact they’re rendered in black gives them an edge that allows them to work in the city too. If you wanted to lean a little more formal you could amp up the sophistication by adding Coyote Negro’s sculptural sterling silver jewelry to complete the look. Paired with natural texture hair, an easy sandal or low heel, and luminous skin the look is effortless but so elegant.

Coyote Negro is one of our new jewelry brands for summer. Designed by Puerto Rican Art Director Melissa Hernández in NYC, the pieces are artful and pared down in a way I really connect with. Whether you’re in the wilderness or at a cocktail party, I think accessories should always be beautiful but practical too. XXJKE
