In the Veggie Kitchen: Holiday - The Menu
As I shared yesterday, our holiday get-together with The Chalkboard Mag was one characterized by wonderfully comforting food and decor. As always, the lovely Barrett from Valleybrink Road created a meal both memorable and delicious. And while a fire crackled in the background, she led us through each of the vegetarian recipes.
On the holiday menu: an incredible Spiced Apple Bourbon Cider (which we sipped as she taught), Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with White Balsamic and Parsley, a Farro Salad with Persimmon, Radicchio, Hazelnuts & Mint, and a Winter Squash Puree with Crispy Sage. Needless to say, everything was absolutely delicious, and just the thing for our warm and cozy get-together. XXJKE
