100% solution-dyed polyester, 600D performance fabric, our material is light weight, breathable, water-repellent, and resistant to mold, mildew, shrinkage, fading, harsh weather, and UV rays, maintaining its shape without tearing or stretching, and easy to store.
Before covering, clean and dry furniture frames, cushions, and covers; residue trapped on the surface can create mold and mildew build up. Do not store or place the cover on furniture unless both the cover and furniture are entirely clean and dry. Whenever possible, remove cushions before covering frames for extended periods to prevent mold and mildew.
Exercise caution to prevent dragging or yanking your cover across rough surfaces, like cement, rocks, or sharp corners when installing or removing.
To prevent water and debris from pooling on the cover; ensure tenting devices are upright on the flat surface of the frame. Lay back cushions flat on the seat cushion. Pull the cover as far down as possible to prevent sagging and water collection. Secure with attached straps, and tighten for a taut fit.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Once a month: Remove cover from furniture, spray off any dirt or debris with a hose. Air dry only.
Once a year: For more rigorous cleaning, use a soft bristle brush and a cleaning mixture of cold or lukewarm water (under 100°F) and mild, natural soap. Avoid harsh detergents.
For stubborn stains, apply a mixture of diluted chlorine bleach and water. Lightly spray mixture on the fabric (non-coated side). Do not soak fabric for more than 2 minutes; prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals can damage the interior lining. Rinse thoroughly. Air dry only.
Winterizing your Furniture:
Jenni Kayne Outdoor Furniture is crafted to withstand the elements, but winter conditions, including ice and snow, can impact its longevity. Prepare your furniture for winter by relocating it to a sheltered spot if possible.
For furniture that must stay outdoors, follow these steps to protect it:
Remove all cushions; spot-treat stains with mild soap and water before storage.
Store cushions in a space with a consistent temperature above 40°F.
Clean frames as instructed and ensure they are completely dry before covering.
Keep frames right side up to prevent water accumulation.
Cover frames with outdoor furniture covers and secure with the straps.
Regularly clear off any ice, snow, and water from the cover; do not allow accumulation on top.
